How often will the group meet?

We hold regular live-streamed meetings on a monthly basis. We also publish regular reports.

Will we meet in person?

Due to the international nature of the group, all meetings take place online rather than in person. 

How was the group selected?

The group is Chaired by Sir David King who selected the diverse panel alongside an advisory team at Cambridge University.

Are members paid for participation?

All members are participating voluntarily and receive no fee for their contribution to the group.

Who is funding the project?

CCAG is funded by grants from grant-giving organisations, supplemented by gifts from individual donors.

What relation does the Climate Crisis Advisory Group bear to Independent SAGE?

The Group is completely unrelated to Independent SAGE

Will this interrupt members’ other roles and commitments, such as in other institutional roles?

No. The Group is designed to be complementary to all members’ other roles, it is not an alternative to their pre-existing commitments.
